Francine Rios-Fetchko
UCSF Medical Intern
Francine Rios-Fetchko is a first-year medical student at UCSF and member of PRIME-US with interests in health equity, immigrant health and community-engaged research. She graduated from Yale University in 2020 with a degree in Political Science and, following her graduation, worked at the UCSF Latinx Center of Excellence for four years. There, she worked with pathway programs for underrepresented students, built community-academic partnerships throughout San Francisco and engaged in health equity research. At UCSF, Francine serves as a coordinator for a student-run free clinic, as Community Engagement Chair for the Latino Medical Student Association and is engaged in research with the Emergency Department. In her free time she loves to play soccer, run and lift weights, cook, and explore nature around San Francisco.
